THE LIGHT AND BEAUTIFUL E-BIKE!
JITENSHA launches a revolutionary and lightweight pedelec system, which respects the sleek style of its bikes: no added battery, no need to connect to the electrical network: everything is integrated into the hub of the rear wheel, and the charge is obtained through an energy recovery sytsem, when going downhill or freewheeling.
The revolutionary 250W hybrid motor with built-in battery is controlled via Bluetooth by an app. No unnecessary cables or controllers. A few pedal strokes and the engine starts.
Several modes are available, controllable from your smartphone: "Turbo" to take full advantage of the engine thrust, "Recovery" to recharge quickly.
The electric assistance offers a range of 30km minimum in "Turbo" mode, or an almost infinite autonomy in "Recovery" mode thanks to the regeneration system of the battery by recovery. If you prefer to be in "Turbo" mode, maximum support continuously, you can simply plug it into a socket! E-JITENSHA assists you up to 25km / h.
The smart phone app also allows to lock the wheel. The bike becomes impossible to use in case of theft.
The JITENSHA electric motor is very light (3kg), you ride perfectly with or without electric assistance, unlike traditional pedelecs, often too heavy to drive without the engine.

Fork : Cr-Mo 4130, 45° rake.
Jitensha bicycle frames and forks are made of high quality alloyed steel: Double Butted Chromoly Steel or Cr-Mo 4130”. Double butted means the tube thickness varies: Thicker at the main frame joints to increase strength and thinner on other sections to decrease weight where possible. The result is a great balance of light weight and durability.
SADDLE AND GRIPS
Grips: Velo, microfiber with pin holes.

Saddle: Velo, Light and high density foam, cr-mo rails. Jitensha Tokyo-Paris embossed.

Our crank/sprocket ratio, 48T x 18T makes it a very versatile bike: you can go real fast, re-start easily when stopping at a light and go up-hill as well by pressing a bit harder on your legs.

Your JITENSHA is fully assembled and tested in our workshops. Once tested, the handlebar, pedals, front wheel and saddle are removed. Its all pre-set, so when it arrives you need 4 standard tools, 6 steps and you'll hit the road in10 minutes. No technical skills neeeded. If you are not comfortable, our partner Cyclofix can do the assembly for you.
