FRAME AND FORK
Frame: Exclusive design, Cromoly 4130 double butted.
Fork : Cr-Mo 4130, 45° rake.
Jitensha bicycle frames and forks are made of high quality alloyed steel: Double Butted Chromoly Steel or Cr-Mo 4130”. Double butted means the tube thickness varies: Thicker at the main frame joints to increase strength and thinner on other sections to decrease weight where possible. The result is a great balance of light weight and durability.
SADDLE AND GRIPS
Grips: Velo, microfiber with pin holes.
End plug: Jitensha.
Saddle: Velo, Light and high density foam, cr-mo rails. Jitensha Tokyo-Paris embossed.
Seat Post: Melt forged and Aluminium Alloy 6061, 27,2mm diameter.
Clamp: Aluminium Alloy 6061.

Our crank/sprocket ratio, 48T x 18T makes it a very versatile bike: you can go real fast, re-start easily when stopping at a light and go up-hill as well by pressing a bit harder on your legs.
Bottom bracket : Neco 68mm shell, Square axle, Steel Body, Steel and Nylon cups, Sealed Bearings.
Chain: YBN1/2”x1/8”, Spring clip and single pin connector, Silver or Teflon Black. Pedals: Wellgo Aluminium body and cage, Cr-Mo, Sealed bearing.

Your JITENSHA is fully assembled and tested in our workshops. Once tested, the handlebar, pedals, front wheel and saddle are removed. Its all pre-set, so when it arrives you need 4 standard tools, 6 steps and you'll hit the road in10 minutes. No technical skills neeeded. If you are not comfortable, our partner Cyclofix can do the assembly for you.
